چکیده

Objectives: For an anesthesiologist, the post-operative phase is just as crucial pre-operative and intraoperative periods. Whether a surgery performed under regional or general anesthesia, goal should always be to provide patients with pain-free comfortable recovery. Spinal anesthesia frequently used during caesarean sections, but its effects only last for few hours. As result, various multidisciplinary analgesia strategies side have been attempted postpartum relieve pain because they may also harmful newborn baby’s health. It has already proven; injecting ropivacaine far safer alternative bupivacaine. We compared local infiltration of injectable alone both intraperitoneal instillation in individuals who had cesarean surgery. In present study, 0.5% were management following elective section spinal anesthesia. Methods: Pregnant women ASA Grades I II having planned divided into two groups at random (R1 R2 group, each 30 patients). Patients Group R1 received 15 mL injection incision site. injections 5 before peritoneal closure infiltrations 10 site skin closure. The duration was calculated by timing start sensory block point which rescue sought throughout period. Pain intensity measured using visual analog scale (VAS). Data on hemodynamics gathered. Results: lasted much longer than that (p<0.05). mean (±SD) analgesic 147.17±4.67 170.33±3.69 min, respectively. (SD) VAS scores moment first demand 36.7±5.14 32.6±6.52, Conclusion: When combined inj. enhances procedures.

Comparison of Ropivacaine Alone versus Ropivacaine with Dexamethasone in Caudal Block for Pediatric Post-operative Analgesia

Background: Caudal block is a regional anesthesia technique most commonly used for post-operative analgesia in children undergoing infraumbilical surgeries. The local anesthetics used in caudal block have the shortcoming of less duration of action which can be increased by adding adjuncts. The aim of our study was to compare the duration of post-operative analgesia when 0.2% ropivacaine versus ...

Intraperitoneal Hydrocortisone plus Bupivacaine administration For Pain Relief after Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, A Comparison with Bupivacaine Alone

Introduction: shorter hospital stay and less pain in comparison to open surgery considered to be major benefits for laparoscopic cholecystectomy. We compared the effect of intraperitoneal hydrocortisone plus bupivacaine with bupivacaine alone on pain relief following laparoscopic cholecystectomy.  Methods: Sixty two patients participated in this double-blind, randomized clinical trial. Efficacy of periportal infiltration and intraperitoneal instillation of ropivacaine after laparoscopic surgery in children.

UNLABELLED Postoperative pain is less intense after laparoscopic than after open surgery. However, minimally invasive surgery is not a a pain-free procedure. Many trials have been done in adults using intraperitoneal and/or incisional local anesthetic, but similar studies have not yet been reported in the literature in children. AIM The aim of this study was to evaluate the analgesic effect o...

Effect of local wound infiltration with ropivacaine on postoperative pain relief and stress response reduction after open hepatectomy

AIM To prospectively evaluate the effect of local wound infiltration with ropivacaine on postoperative pain relief and stress response reduction after open hepatectomy. METHODS A total of 56 patients undergoing open hepatectomy were randomly divided into two groups: a ropivacaine group (wound infiltration with ropivacaine solution) and a control group (infiltration with isotonic saline soluti...
